Completed work at UCLA on his Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology while in the US Navy during World War II
1970 Named Publisher of the Daily Breeze, holding the position for nine year
1978-1988 Served as Vice-Chairman of Copley Press
June 2000 Among Torrance Chamber’s honored 95 most influential business and civic leaders
Unfortunately, Hubert had passed away in January, 2000, one day before his 78th birthday from complications of Alzheimers disease
