- Attended Dartmouth College on a full scholarship
- 1960 Graduated Summa Cum Laude
- 1963 Received his MD degree from Harvard Medical School
- Served medical internship at Boston City Hospital
- Next was pediatric residency and then pediatric cardiology fellowship at Boston’s Children’s Hospital
- Sol practiced primary care pediatrics before starting a career in pediatric cardiology
- 2002 Named Pediatrician of the Year by the New Hampshire Pediatric Society
Memories
I moved to Redondo Beach in the summer of 1954 from Brooklyn, N.Y., and entered RUHS as a wonderful environment of new friends and teachers. My two years at RUHS were a wonderful experience, academically, athletically, and socially. Little did I know in 1948, watching my favorite football player, Mickey Colmer of the Brooklyn Football Dodgers, that I would be lucky enough someday to attend his Alma Mater.
