Memories
First-rate and friendly teachers — Mrs. Rinker, English; Miss Deatherage, Latin; Aletha Brown, drama; and many others. Commodious facilities, including an auditorium with a fine pipe organ. Teachers and students alike worked hard. Evening football games were exciting. Generally, seriousness of purpose and physical security were taken for granted.
