Served in the US Navy Waves during World War II

Activities while attending RUHS included Honor Society, 1923-1926; Yearbook staff, 1925-1926; High Tide editor, 1925
Member of the first graduating class from UCLA’s Westwood campus
She taught Journalism at Redondo for 37 years

Memories
In the memories of the Distinguished Graduates, Helen was the most mentioned teacher having the greatest influence on their lives. She continued to stay in touch with most of her students, including an honorary membership in the RUHS Alumni Association, until her death in 2000.
